Cape Town Afterglow
See Cape Town transition from daylight to evening on a private experience combining history, ocean views and dinner at the V&A Waterfront.
About this experience
See Cape Town transition from daylight to evening on a private experience combining history, ocean views and dinner at the V&A Waterfront.
Your evening begins with collection from your centrally located Cape Town accommodation. At the Waterfront, your private guide leads you through the historic harbour precinct, connecting its maritime landmarks with stories of sailors, prisoners, trade, immigration and the transformation of the old docks into one of Cape Town’s best-known destinations.
Following the walk, board a premium sunset cruise and experience the city from the water. Watch Table Mountain, Lion’s Head and the Atlantic coastline change colour while enjoying sparkling wine on board. Dolphins, seals, sunfish and seabirds are sometimes encountered, although wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed.
After returning to the harbour, continue to a carefully selected Waterfront restaurant for a three-course dinner. At the end of the evening, your guide will return you safely to your accommodation.
More than a cruise or restaurant reservation, this is a seamless private Cape Town evening — personally hosted from collection to drop-off and available in English or Spanish.
Ideal for couples, honeymooners, families, friends and small private groups looking for a relaxed but memorable Cape Town evening. It is particularly suitable for first-time visitors who want to combine local history, Waterfront landmarks, ocean scenery and dinner without arranging each part separately.
Private collection and return are included for up to four guests staying in the City Bowl, V&A Waterfront, Green Point, Sea Point, Camps Bay and nearby Atlantic Seaboard areas. Pickup from Constantia, the northern suburbs, the airport area or destinations farther from central Cape Town may carry an additional transport charge.
Cruise departure times change throughout the year according to sunset. Your exact pickup time, cruise departure and restaurant reservation will be confirmed after booking.
